our road trip, part 2

Well, something very sad happened.  We had this fabulous week in Uniontown with Bill's family and I took loads of pictures.  LOADS!  and then, as one of the last things we did, we hiked up the mountain...and somehow I bumped a button and they all got deleted. I didn't even realize this had happened until tonight...and this was the first picture on my camera--Amy and Maddox at the top of the mountain.  Yup, all the pictures I took before--all of these great pictures of all of the grandkids with Mimi and Pops got deleted.
And I'm sick about it.
Oh well--we are all safe and had a wonderful trip...and I did get a few good pictures.  Here is what didn't get deleted.

All of these pictures are from an evening party we had to celebrate Bill's dad's 60th birthday.

I am so bummed about the lost pictures.

our insane road trip: week 1

We are on a crazy, cross country road trip--one week done, one week to go!
Here is a quick picture dump of some of the highlights!

Our first stop on the road trip was Kansas City Kansas to see my sister Susan.  Everyone made it except Maria and her family.

We left Kansas on Monday and drove to Nashville where we spent the night.  Tuesday morning we took in just a few sights, and then got back into the car.

From there we headed to North Carolina, picked up my sister and her 4 kids and headed to Beautiful Emerald Isle!

My sister's 4 kids and our 3 kids were a bit of a crew, but much fun was had!

Saturday morning we left North Carolina and headed north to Maryland where we met up with several of Billy's friends from college--including 2 cute kiddos for Gus and Bernadette to play with.

We have been having a ton of fun and are finally here in Uniontown enjoying time with Billy's family.  We are so happy to be here, and to be out of the car for a few days.  The kids have been doing amazingly well for the amount of driving we've been doing, though.

We'll be back to Mpls in a week!  until then, let the good times roll!
