Time with Baba and Pappy

We had a fun week with family.  Bill's parents were here last week and, although it was hot, we had some fun!  Here are some of the pics I snapped while they were here.
Dominic passed out with Baba.

Bernadette got her hair done by Baba each morning

One day Daddy came home from work early and we went swimming!

Wednesday night we met Aunt Barbie and Uncle Bob for supper.

And, we tried to take a nice picture of the kids with their grandparents...thanks a lot Gus!

But, I did get some nice ones of the kids on the day Dominic turned 6 weeks old.

And then, on Saturday, I was able to get a pretty nice one of all three kids and their grandparents.  Trust me, Baba and Pappy, after you left you were missed!

And finally, today Gus wanted to dress like his little brother, so here they are, both wearing their dump truck shirts.

All the best,
Nancy, Bill, Gus, Dominic and Bernadette

Dominic's Baptism

A few pictures from today--Dominic's Baptism!

The whole family was all still together.  After a big breakfast at our house, we headed to the 11:30 mass at the Basilica and took a family picture on the steps.

Then, after mass we headed to our parish for the baptism.  My sister Maria and her husband Joe are the Godparents.  Since Joe was unable to come, my brother stood in for him.

And then this afternoon, when both of the boys refused to nap during nap time, we did a little photo shoot of Dominic in the baptismal outfit that his Pappy, Daddy and Big Brother wore before him.

Gus really wanted to get into a few of the pictures.

And then, he laid down next to Dominic and wanted to snuggle with him.

Okay, enough posts for tonight!
Nancy, Bill, Gus, Bernadette and Dominic.

Michigan Pictures!

Here they are... our Michigan pictures from 2014!  We had a good time...but it was COLD this year.  The kids had a lot of fun playing in the sand right in front of the cabin, but there was little to no swimming.  Enjoy the pictures!
The beach in front of the cabin.

Therese

Our first full day in Michigan we enjoyed a nice campfire and took from family pictures.

Bernadette and Patrick on cute little chairs.

S'mores!

Luke!

Mary!

A very sticky Gus

This year's tie-dye was red, white and blue.  We took some cousin pictures and everyone was happy to be part of it...except our little Bernadette...

Therese was the official baby holder in all of the pictures.

After the photo shoot we headed out the parade! Dominic spent the parade sleeping in the carrier!

Some eager kids waiting for some candy!

That evening we went to mass and then walked down to the lighthouse.  It was a windy night and there were huge waves!

Another cousin picture.

Our family picture by the lighthouse.

The Librandes

The Lanoues

The rest of the week was cold, but that didn't keep up in doors.  Our little Bernadette loved playing in the soft sugar sand.

On Monday night Bill and I left the 2 older kids with the rest of the family and went on a beautiful sunset cruise of the Pictured Rocks in Lake Superior.  Dominic came with.

On Tuesday we took the kids to the park.

Tuesday evening we headed to Beautiful Beach and took some pictures, but first our photographer and her assistant took a few cute selfies!

And, of course, we tried to get a few more cousin pictures!

The cousin picture didn't really turn out, but it was a beautiful night.

My parents met us at the beach, having just returned from a little date.

Another attempt at a family pic--fail.

And, just a few more pictures of the entire group.

It was a great little vacation...but I think we are all happy to be home!
