Great Friends

Okay--last post of the day!  Since Bill got back on Saturday we have been blessed to see lots of our friends and their beautiful children.

This first picture is of Bernadette and Penny.  They are Exactly one week apart.  To my family--doesn't Bernadette look like the Crosses in this picture?--maybe Bridget when she was a baby.

And then on Sunday we hosted a going away part for our dear friends Tom and JoAnn.  They are headed back to Rome this year and they will be missed!  We had a full house and a whole herd of kids!

The Moms.

What a look, Gus!

We love you all,

Our second week in Marshall

Bill was gone 2 weeks to Brazil.  We were in Marshall about a week and a half.  On the weekend in between we traveled to Sioux Falls SD so see one of my good high school friends.  With here we went to a butterfly house/aquarium.  Gus liked the fish better than the butterflies.  He kept on pointing out Nemo and Dorry.

It got really hot our last days in Marshall, so we often headed over to a pond next to one of my dad's fields.  Baby was especially happy to cool off.

And, both kids had fun playing in the dirt there.

One more post coming right up!

Trip to the Como Zoo

These pictures are a little out of order.  The first few shots are just of the kids playing in the sandbox.  for some reason the sandbox is the most loved place to play lately (thanks Baba).  Gus begs to go out there several times a day. Baby loves it out there too--but Gus has taken to rubbing sand in his sister's hair.

Next, before Bill left for Brazil we went to the Como Zoo with some friends. It was a lot of fun.  Who doesn't love the zoo?

Yup, he's all boy!

Baby enjoying it from her stroller.

With Micah and Mathias watching the seals.

We tried to do a group shot by the gorilla, but, as you can see, my kids weren't having it.

Gus did give Mathias a few good hugs!

And, we got this great shot of Tom, JoAnn, Mathias and baby.  We will miss you guys!

Stay tuned--more pics coming shortly!

Dorothy's Visit

First of all, I am so sorry that I am really slacking off on this blog.  I have given myself too many things to do on the computer, so when I sit down I just don't ever get this blog done.  But, since it is our 3rd anniversary tonight, I thought I would stop, and take a minute to share a few pictures from the past few weeks.

I'm going to do a few posts, just so it isn't quite so overwhelming.

First off--here is my woman's group (minus Lauren and Kelly).  I feel very very blessed to have these women in my life!

All of the following pictures in this post are of my friend Dorothy and her beautiful children.  They came to visit a few weeks ago and we spent lots of time outside.

Dorothy has a little boy too--but he rebelled against getting his picture taken.  Okay--I will be back with more pictures in just a few minutes!
