Life is good in the Bandzuch household is good--really good--we are just getting a little impatient waiting for Dominic to arrive. We have had some false starts and lots of waiting. So, to keep from going crazy we have been trying to be outside, enjoying the beautiful June was much as possible, and that is helping a lot.
One of the kids' favorite things to do is race up and down the driveway with their lawn mowers. Thank God we have two matching mowers!
Next, we love heading to the beach. Gus is always eager to get to work with his shovel. The other day we dug a little pond and a river down to the lake. Even though it was about a week ago, I still get asked (often) "Mom, you think there's fishies in our river?" I tell him yes because, I guess it's possible!
Even Bernadette was a big help filling that river.
And then on Friday we enjoyed a short evening picnic, also on the beach. Gus and Micah had a lot of fun getting very wet and sandy...and then it started to rain and we all headed for home.
And there you have it. Not a lot going on--and certainly not the big event we are eagerly waiting for, but like I said, life is good!
