Dominic's Second Week of Life Adventures

We have been having lots of summer fun lately...and little Dominic has been along for the ride whether he likes it or not!  Really, he is spoiling us.  He is a very easy going baby and is easy to take along.  Here is what we have been up to:

Last weekend we kicked off the fun with some evening fun at Lake Independence.

Dominic and Mom where happy to hang out on the blanket while dad played with the big kids.

And then on Saturday we headed to Minnehaha Falls.  It was a warm but beautiful day!  Dominic and Bernadette got a ride in a carrier, but big boy Gus walked on his own.  He went all the way up and down those steps--we were really proud of him!

After the Falls we headed over the the splash pad.  Dominic and I relaxed in the shade while dad, once again, played with the big kids.  And then my camera battery died...so I only have this one pic of the kids' backs.

After a fun weekend Bill headed back to work and I set about managing 3 kids by myself.  We did really well and had some fun visitors half-way through the week. Maria and her kids passed through and Little Patrick spent some time holding Dominic.

Friday evening we had another visitor--our friend Sarah!

And then, this Saturday Dominic went with Bill and I to our dear friends, Mary and Blake's wedding.  It was perfect, and we were thrilled to be there!!!

Yay!

And Dominic met his new little friend, Baby Eden, who is just 12 days older than him.

Dominic was looking pretty sharp for the occasion!

And, finally, here are a few funny pictures of the kids.  Gus is REALLY into holding Dominic, especially when Dominic is awake.

And, here are a few of the many faces of Ms. Bernadette.

That's all for now,

Bath Time and Sibling Pics

I have just a second to write this--hard to get a chance to when my hands are free!  But, here are a few of the latest pictures of our tribe.  Dominic has had two baths, one a few days ago and a real bath this evening.  Both times daddy was the master bath-giver and had two very eager little assistants.

And, with my mom here again today we had some fun posing the kids for some photos.  Because we are crazy we took a chair outside and had some fun.

Three cute kids with bare feet!

And then, after Bernadette went down for a nap Gus and I set up a photo shoot inside.  My photo assistant had to get in on the first photo.

And daddy took this cute picture tonight.

And here are the pictures of tonight's bath.

Welcome Baby Dominic--Hospital Pictures

Welcome Baby Dominic!  We had the joy of welcoming baby Dominic early Thursday morning.  Hardest delivery of the 3, by far, but he has already proven himself to be a sweet and very loved little brother.  Grandma brought Gus and Bernadette to the hospital to meet their brother Thursday evening and it was a love fest.  Here are a few of the pictures we took while at the hospital.  We are happy to be home now, and looking forward to a hopefully restful night at home.

and, the little man himself right before we were discharged from the hospital.
Thank you for all the prayers, support and love.

A few pictures...as we continue to wait for Dominic

Life is good in the Bandzuch household is good--really good--we are just getting a little impatient waiting for Dominic to arrive.  We have had some false starts and lots of waiting.  So, to keep from going crazy we have been trying to be outside, enjoying the beautiful June was much as possible, and that is helping a lot.

One of the kids' favorite things to do is race up and down the driveway with their lawn mowers.  Thank God we have two matching mowers!

Next, we love heading to the beach.  Gus is always eager to get to work with his shovel.  The other day we dug a little pond and a river down to the lake.  Even though it was about a week ago, I still get asked (often) "Mom, you think there's fishies in our river?"  I tell him yes because, I guess it's possible!

Even Bernadette was a big help filling that river.

And then on Friday we enjoyed a short evening picnic, also on the beach.  Gus and Micah had a lot of fun getting very wet and sandy...and then it started to rain and we all headed for home.

And there you have it.  Not a lot going on--and certainly not the big event we are eagerly waiting for, but like I said, life is good!
