We have been having lots of summer fun lately...and little Dominic has been along for the ride whether he likes it or not! Really, he is spoiling us. He is a very easy going baby and is easy to take along. Here is what we have been up to:
Last weekend we kicked off the fun with some evening fun at Lake Independence.
Dominic and Mom where happy to hang out on the blanket while dad played with the big kids.
And then on Saturday we headed to Minnehaha Falls. It was a warm but beautiful day! Dominic and Bernadette got a ride in a carrier, but big boy Gus walked on his own. He went all the way up and down those steps--we were really proud of him!
After the Falls we headed over the the splash pad. Dominic and I relaxed in the shade while dad, once again, played with the big kids. And then my camera battery died...so I only have this one pic of the kids' backs.
After a fun weekend Bill headed back to work and I set about managing 3 kids by myself. We did really well and had some fun visitors half-way through the week. Maria and her kids passed through and Little Patrick spent some time holding Dominic.
Friday evening we had another visitor--our friend Sarah!
And then, this Saturday Dominic went with Bill and I to our dear friends, Mary and Blake's wedding. It was perfect, and we were thrilled to be there!!!
Yay!
And Dominic met his new little friend, Baby Eden, who is just 12 days older than him.
Dominic was looking pretty sharp for the occasion!
And, finally, here are a few funny pictures of the kids. Gus is REALLY into holding Dominic, especially when Dominic is awake.
