Bill is out of town for work this week, so, as usual, we kicked off the week with something fun and out of the ordinary, just so that daddy isn't missed too much.
We headed to a local Children's farm for the morning and had a really great time. We didn't pay for anything extra (pony rides, fishing, goat food) because I was solo with the 4 kids and I didn't have any quarter, so we have made plans already to return with dad and do all of these fun things.
None the less, we had a good time and got to see lots of goats, which I love.
Looking at the ducks.
Getting to know the goats. Gus isn't a natural goat lover.
This goat seemed to be more interested in Dom than he was in it...
But in the end I think they all feel in love with the goats. One day we will own goats. One day.
And then we found a tractor for Dom to drive.
And Mom even took Josie out of the carrier for a few minutes to get a group pic. The kids were bribed with food...which is why Berna and Dom and making those strange "chewing" faces.
Watching the fish swim.
Then we found some sprinklers and...the kids cooled off.
Next up, peddle tractors.
By this point we were all really warm and hungry. So we headed to see the cows...which were a little disappointing. They were diary cows, and only 2 of them. So, instead we played in a Tepee for a few minutes and then headed home.
And that's it!
