A good friend's ordination

We had a busy, wonderful weekend.  A good friend of ours was ordained into the priesthood.  We felt honored to be able to celebrate his ordination and his first mass with him.  And, Gus did pretty well throughout all of it.  He was a little squirmy, but for a 1 year old he did really well.

Most of our friends who were present to support Ben at the ordination.  Look at all the babies...and there are 4 more babies still in the womb in this picture too!

PS--Pray for my brother please.  He had a strange episode of numbness and trouble speaking yesterday.  He was admitted (to St. Joe's) and after an MRI cleared of stroke or cancer regrowth.  However, we still don't have answers and are a bit on edge.  We are all headed back to Mayo today.  John was so confident that all this was behind him, but the events of yesterday have shaken him badly.

    Congratulations on your friend's ordination! I know this is a proud moment for all his family and friends.

    I will say a prayer for your brother! Hopefully it was just a fluke thing and he will be feeling better and putting this behind him.
