Our Weekend

It was a fun and busy weekend.  My brother turned 23 on Friday, so Bill and I took him and a few of his friends out to eat.  We had a good time, then returned home for Gus to go to bed and then played card games together.  On Saturday night there was a big baby shower/dadelor party for a few of our close friends that are having babies this Spring. One couple is due in mid March, the other in mid April.  We had fun and Gus got to see other boys around his age  On Sunday we went to early mass and got things done around the house.  Here are the pictures I snapped.

A weekend in Marshall

We all headed down to Marshall this weekend where we got to see first-hand what it would be like to have 4 kids.  My sister Ruth and her husband had a conference in Rochester, so we stayed at their house with their three children.  It was fun, but busy! Bill and I decided that there is reason why God generally sends you one kid at a time!

snuggle time

Here are just some simple pictures of me and Gus.  He is such a sweet boy.  We ran errands yesterday for a couple hours and whole time, even while being pulled in and out of the car, in and out of shopping carts, he smiled and laughed, and talked to me the whole time.  He is also taking really good naps now, and when he is awake, as long as he has a full belly all he wants to do is play with his toys or snuggle with mommy.

I am getting spoiled!

PS--Gus is turning 8 months old today.  Wow, time has gone by quickly!  Maybe this will be the month that he decides to get moving.  Maybe, but I'm not holding my breath!

lots of tummy time...and still no interest in crawling!

Good morning!

Here are several pictures of the little guy from the past couple days.  He is going to be 8 months tomorrow...and still no interest in crawling, so we have been putting him on his tummy a lot.  However, if he does move forward at all it is mere inches!  Oh well.  He is happy and healthy, and despite Bill's busy time at work, we are all doing well.
